Wendys — Dispute with coupon

I had a Wendy’s coupon for a bacon extra Baconator for $1
I ordered the combo meal with fries and a drink
When I got to the window I was told that I couldn’t use the coupon because I ordered a meal and the coupon states it only goes for buying a hamburger and not the whole meal.
This was explained to me by the manager after I asked to speak to him.
So I couldn’t get the extra hamburger.
I then said please give me the deal of the two burgers and skip the drink and fries.
I was given two burgers and charge $13.18 not the deal as stated on the coupon.
I didn’t realize I was cheetah until I got home and I called the manager and he told me I can come by and pick up the money.
But really rude to me.
As if it was my fault.
The woman at the window was also really rude to me snatching my credit card for my hand and then practically throwing the food back at me very rudely.

I could’ve been offered the option to pay extra for the fries and soda which they kept and probably threw in the garbage rather than give them to me.
In my experiences,
McDonald’s handle these situation much better they don’t
act like this for food.
They work with their customers.
The soda was already served and so were the french fries they would have given it to me or asked me to pay extra
and not caused a scene or make a customer upset.
All for a simple drink and fries..
At the end the Manager rudely conceded the mistake
And I was offered to go back to the Wendy’s and pick up my money I was overcharge for.
Truly an unnecessary bad experience.
