Wells Fargo — Compliance violation in itself

So….I have had a credit card with Wells Fargo since 2006. It has been paid off for the last three years! I received a letter in the mail in February 2020 stating I needed to use the card or they would close it out if I didn’t call to tell them to leave it opened and active. I called and verbally told them not to close the card (they have this call on a recorded line and state they see the notes in the system). Two weeks ago I received an email from credit Karma stating my card had closed and my credit score dropped 8 points. Called Wells Fargo to complain and of course they do not care. Got a call today from the complaint department stating they can re-open my card as long as they can do a credit check which would put another hit on my credit report, verify my income and if I rent or own. Wells Fargo made the mistake so they should make things right without me taking another hit on my credit. Why should I be punished twice for a mistake this bank made? Not to mention I changed my name three + years ago and sent them the documents to do the same and they still have the wrong last name in the system. And I had my name taken off my fathers account this year and when they looked at my Id it had my new last name and they have my old last name in the system. Not one time did they say a word. That is a compliance violation in itself. Banking at its finest!!
