Uber Eats — My food didnt arrive

I ordered food at 4.30pm. The payment was taken from my account and the delivery time displayed for 4.55pm. The order was then repeatedly delayed as running late. The last update was that my food would arrive at 6.05pm which was late, but still ok. At 6pm i noticed a refund of my payment into my account and that the order had been cancelled.

My complaint is…. why the **** did you take the order if you knew you didnt have delivery staff? Why did you accept the order and keep delaying it knowing that it wasn’t going to be possible? Surely you knew the order was never going to be be delivered, so why not tell me at 4.30pm when i ordered it?
