I drove for Uber eats for 5 hours the other day and made about $70. I needed money for groceries for me and my daughter so I figured I d work a few hours and be able to cash out and we would be fine. I went to cash out and it told me that I wasn’t able to because I needed to upload my drivers license. I uploaded that and went to cash out. I was able to use the cash out feature but then I got an error message saying that they were having issues and to try again later. after trying for about an hour I called driver support and tried to see what the issue is. They placed me on hold for so long and the person could not understand what I was saying. I finally, after an hour got a hold of someone and they said for security I had to wait 48 hours. They never told me why. So my daughter didn’t get to eat dinner last night and she went to bed hungry. All because they cant do their job. I want my money released to me and an official apology for what my daughter and me went through. They are not professional and should not have control over money that I worked hard for.
