The driver delivered my order to the wrong address, not even on the same block, marked it as delivered and disappeared from the app. She realized her mistake, picked the food back up where it had been sitting on their porch, finally delivered it about 30 minutes later and told me all of the above. Claimed she couldn’t find the house, yet I could see her vehicle right on my street on the app. She stopped and backed out, then went to the next block. At no time did she call and once she disappeared, right when I was going to call her, I no longer had her information. She is the one who told me all of the above in a very dramatic fashion. The food was stone cold and inedible. I notified Uber and all they did was claim drivers were busy and that increased the time to deliver. AND there was no way for me to at least remove the tip. Which she has received and hasn’t even bothered to thank me for. Refund the entire charge of $21.87. I am thinking of having my bank simply reverse the charge.
