We were looking for an Uber driver at the CBX airport. The first said it’s about $30.- – I accepted even this is a lot for this short trip. After a while, we get the message: trip cancelled! So the DRIVER cancelled! We were looking for another Uber driver. He wanted to charge about $16.- which is the normal Uber rate for this distance. The driver was about 17 miles away. So we were waiting in the cold! And waiting, and waiting – the driver never showed up even he had the exact destination, pick-up point! With all the Uber activities, the battery from my cell went down, and the driver didn’t show up. We were waiting a time longer – about 10 minutes longer as he said he would be here – then we took a taxi and paid $25.- So now UBER charged my credit card 2 times for the inconvenience of the driver!! What’s about a INCONVENIENCE payment to us?
