I payed for an a legal notice to be put on their newspaper. I was assured by one of their employees that when the add was finalized they would send me a notarized affidavit of publication. The affidavit that they sent was signed but it was not notarized and it did not even include the name or the position of the person who signed it. It was not deemed as proof of publication by the judge who handled my case due to it not being properly done by the newspaper. I contacted them and their legal representative Melody told me that they could run the add again for free since I had to make an amendment to the case and have it properly republished. She also said that if their employee had previously promised it to be notarized then it would be possible to notarize it. Then she asked me to contact Rick from their administrative department. I called and left a message and also sent him an e-mail to which he replied that if I needed it to be notarized I needed to contact another company. I replied explaining to him that her employee Stacy had assured me that it would be sent notarized to me since I live in another state and also mention what Melody said. Then he said that He needed a document from the court stating that the affidavit was rejected. I explained to him that it was said in court by the judge and that due to the lock down in my state I was unable to do so. I did sent him the statues for the affidavit of publication. I was only asking for them to fulfill what was promised to me and what I paid for. I have been place in an inconvenience due to them not delivering what was asked for. At this point I am tired of being lied to and misled by their different departments and I am looking for a refund since they are not able to fulfill what was promised when I paid for their services.
