Today 2821 I called to Salvation Army Thrift store to ask if I could donate some things. I told them I had a truck full of stuff to donate. The person who answered, told me it was fine. I told them I was going to be there around 1:15pm. I went to the store at 1:15pm and told them that I was donating some stuff so the cashier told me to load fown the staff on the door. So My husband and I started loading the stuff down. A lady came and started helping us. Then other lady come and told us in a very rude way. “You can’t leave staff here, put inside. She opened the door. And then she start telling us they can’t accept some cabinets we had there. So I answered is ok and continue loading down some dishes and things that I supposed they accepted it. The lady start yelling me and telling me “people just came and leave stuff here and we don’t like it, you have to put them inside. You don’t understand we won’t accept your things” and repeted her self. So I told her is ok. We didn’t know you didn’t accept cabinets. I called this morning” she told me “nobody called this morning I been here all day” and things like that. She keep arguing with me. We already started to put the things on the truck again and she keep telling me, in a way so rude. So i told her. You don’t have to be rude with people who come to donate. You should be nice. You could be nice. Is your work. ( I mean she’s working at customer service) And she told me she:I am volunteer, and woth more reason, she’s volunteer and from a church. If Everybody at that church is like her I don’t wanna go. She told me “I am the manager” so I was like “ok but that doesn’t give you the right to talk people like that. You should be respectful” and she just got more mad and told us:” get out, leave from here” so I was like: ok I was going to do that, but you don’t have to yell at me Like that. And she just keep arguing and yelling. At the point she slap the door. So it was a experience so bad. Then , I went to another Thrift store and donate my things and they were so nice and explain me what Can I donate or not. So basically the way this manager treat people is rude rude and rude. She souldn’t be working there specially because church people usually is nice and she’s not.
