We have a Kenmore dryer that was in need of a replacement fuse. We made an appointment by phone (###-###-####) around Dec 20, 2020 and we were instructed they need a credit card on file that would be used to bill the visit and a $59.99 service charge would get applied towards time/materials to fix the issue. We were told that amount only gets billed when the technician arrives. We had a scheduled appointment for Dec 23rd between 10am – 1pm. The technician called shortly after 1pm and explained that he was running late and could be at our home in another 1 1/2 hrs. I stated “No, I will not be here” and told them to cancel the appointment as we were going out of down. I told them we would reschedule after we got back in town after the holidays. The company failed to fulfill the scheduled appointment therefore no services were rendered. The company submitted an unauthorized charge of $59.99 to my credit card on 12/30/2020. Using the phone number on the charge, ###-###-####, I have spoken with two separate people, Kevin and another gentleman. They have both confirmed with me, “Yes, this was done in error but billing department hasn’t processed it yet”. I would like to think that this was a mere mistake but almost 14 days with no resolution leads me to believe that this is not the first time this situation has occurred. This an unauthorized charge and want my funds returned.
