Went to Kogarah subway. purchased the same meal I have had before – footlong pizza sub, with two rainbow cookies and a drink. Specifically asked for the two rainbow cookies as I have had them before and they don’t have nuts in them. I have a nut allergy. Due to having these before, I knew they were safe. Instead I was given two macadamia and raspberry cookies and not told. I ended up taking a bite, getting anaphylaxis, having to use an epi pen and call the ambulance. pretty serious. I contacted subway. they didn’t answer their phone multiple times as they took it off the hook. I went to the store when I first took the bite. the guy who served me, the manager bushan, admitted he gave me the wrong cookies. When i contacted the head office, they firstly denied it, then lied saying they had left voicemails which they didnt, then when i finally spoke to bushan, he kept changing his story. I want a formal apology, refund for my meal which i still havent gotten, and them to pay for my ambulance and medications.
