On 12192021 about 10:30am I exited the stop and shop after my purchase. I saw shopping carts flying around from the wind. As I did I notified the shopping cart collector boy and a cart flew into my front bumper. He instantly apologized for it and we went into the store to the service desk. We explained it hat happened and the lady said she would go get the manager as that’s the protocol for a situation like this. She then returned informing me the manager refuses to come downstairs and he said it’s not their fault. I then asked the cart boy for his name and number for my insurance agency to contact him as he bared witness to the incident. At that time the manager and a security officer was asked up and snatched with force the paper from the boys hand and crumpled it up. When asked for their name the manager and security officer refused said they are not giving me anything. I asked if this is their normal protocol for dealing with customers, at that time they told me they’re being nice right now so I need to leave. I am so baffled at how I was handled at this Stop and Shop that I have been a loyal customer for years. It’s the lack of professionalism that disturbs me severely in this situation.
