Ordered 2 drinks and a cake from Starbucks. The driver tracking showed the driver arrive, but I looked outside and there was no one around. Then I get an saying my order has been delivered, but it hadn’t. I checked everywhere outside, and nothing. It happened so fast and I was waiting, I honestly think the driver just drove off with my order. I complained on the app, but was told my order was not eligible for a refund??? Told to rate the restaurant (no fault of Starbucks) and rate the driver but no help from Uber Eats what so ever. Hours later I received a message saying they can see my complaint has been resolved but it hasn’t???? WTH??? No drinks and no refund. So I’m supposed to just accept it’s ok to spend £15 through the App and not be entitled to a refund when they don’t deliver my order and their service is useless. No help from anyone. The worst thing of all is this is such a constant problem and yet I still continues to use Uber Eats when the get things wrong 910 times…..more the fool me. I will never use them ever again. They stole my money!!!! They should have refunded me and they should discipline their driver or kick him off the register. No contact from anybody. It’s just not acceptable. Really terrible way to treat customers. To take their money, not deliver on their side and then just not accept responsibility or offer an apology or refund
