On Friday Feb 25th at 7:40 pm I started to pay my merchandise that I was purchasing. As I’m putting things through the self check out I noticed my lean cuisine was not on sale like the ticket was showing on the shelf. The reason I was purchase it was because it was on sale, I purchase on sale only. I asked a teller, she left and came back to tell me that it’s a weekend sale, there a black strip on the ticket.( like I would have noticed the black ticket that I didn’t even know it existed) I explained to her that the price is showing 1.99 and that’s the reason I was purchasing it. She started to tell me that it’s a weekend sale and that they don’t have time to put the labels up on Saturday morning so they need to do them on Friday night. Well it’s not my fault that they can’t wait until the store is closed to put up the label. I’ve worked in customer service for 35 years and I’ve never argued with a client about a price. The customer should be getting the price showing without an argument.
