Because I retired six years ago, and it has been a year or so since Harbortouch handled any payments, I canceled my account. The representative said I did not have to return the one piece of equipment (perhaps due to its age, being several electronic generations old). However, without any prior notice to me, my bank account was debited for $450 to Harbortouch. When I called in, I was told they were “unable” to remove the charge unless the equipment was returned. My requests to speak to supervisors were denied.
