Hi, I bought a Sentry Safe QUICK ACCESS BIOMETRIC PISTOL SAFE MODEL QAP1BE. Sentry Safe is owned by Master Lock. The gas struts broke in a year and a half, rendering the safe useless. The warranty lasted only one year. After contacting customer service, I was told that I can spend $30 to have Sentry Safe send me a new gas strut. Spending $30 every year and a half, while hoping that the safe will work in the event that it’s needed did not sound like a reliable strategy to me to protect my family from a break-in. I wrote a negative review on Sentry Safe’s website due to this experience. To this day, the review has not been posted to their website. I submitted the review on January 17th. Today is the 28th and it still has not been posted. That’s 8 business days. I have no doubt in my mind that Sentry Safe is filtering out bad reviews of their products in an attempt to make their products seem better than they are, therefore misleading the public. I have been very disappointed in the way that Sentry Safe has designed this product and handled my dissatisfaction with the product.
