1. Most recently my husband and I were using self check out. We are seniors and not that familiar with the process. The lady that was there was very short with us she stood at the centre table and just kept speaking loudly She made us feel very stupid. She could have come over to where we were to help us. My husband when trying to get some meat cut had to raise his voice quite loudly to get them to pay attention to the counter. They saw him but continued to talk and ignore us.

   We were at the Hot and Got section trying to purchase a chicken. My husband asked if there were any bbq chicken ready to come out and she was very short with her Well I don’t have time to take them out come back later. We did and she still ignored us. Since Covid we have found the staff to be very rude. I understand they have a hard job but rudeness is not necessary.

   We have spoken to the manager about the long line ups at the register and his answer is that its hard to find help.
   That is not the issue the constant ignoring of customers while they continue to talk and they act like we are interrupting them. Which we are they are but they are working not on break.

   My husband and I have both worked in the Customer Service industry and find this type of behaviour deplorable.
   This has been building up and the Cashier was the top of it all.

   The staff should realize that we maybe they are having a bad day or just had a bad customer but they need to learn to not take it out on the next customer. We have feelings also.
   I have shopped at Zehr\’s for years and love their food and they do have some great staff but they are mostly the ones that have been there for years.
   I find that recently when I come out of the store I find it has not been an enjoyable experience
