First of all love Park dean Holidays spent many holidays there ,this time was extra special for us and I wanted the best for my family so I chose the new 4 double bed roomed Ludworth HD07 with Jacuzzi looked fantastic from the out side .But that was the first niggles on entering things didn’t seem right there were wires hanging from a ledge under the TV then it was time to put kettle on no kettle and some pans in cupboard missing ,Granddaughter ran in from her bedroom with two pair of dirty knickers from the floor of her bedroom and I another bedroom dirty socks.in the whole lodge there was only two double bath sheets for four bedrooms .We went to the reseption to report what was missing first the dirty underwear and socks got a sorry then all other missing items that were all replaced within an hour.next morning my sister in law said the shower in there double bedroom did not work it was constant long water with no adjustment,again reported.two hours later job done note left saying all ok .That evening reported again a man turned up to check and said the unit was broken and was surprised as it was a new unit and he would someone back this was our second day ,reported again on the Wednesday we left on the Friday and it was never repaired. We went to do a wash load on the Thursday but were unable to do so as the washing machine was full of green stagnant water that would not pump out .again reported and getting very embarrassed about the whole thing.While I was there I ask about the wires under the TV and was told there should have been a CD unit there but she said it had probably been nicked her words not mine,I said I felt very uncomfortable about leaving on the Friday and they think I have stolen it,there’s more there was a table lamp on the floor in the lounge but apparently the side table had also been misplaced.she did apologies for the problems and I ask her if the cleaner did not check this on handover day or was she new to the job and not done this lodge before.

  2. Monday 18th
    We arrived at 4pm ready to go straight to our caravan but it wasn’t ready. We was told that I would be ready by 6pm the latest, but we ended up going to our caravan at 6 it still wasn’t ready so we just went in and put in our belongings. The cleaners came at had to clean the van and change the beds with us in the van. We were missing a bed frame when we arrived, we asked the cleaners who reported this to their senior who said that they would find a bed to which we waited 30 mins and still no bed. We chased this up to find out that their senior had gone home, which is why we still had no bed. The cleaners had no idea what to do as they had obviously had no guidance or communication from their management. We eventually got a bed frame by this time we had missed the beginning of the evening entertainment.

    The fish and chip shop was closed while still being advertised online, the shop in the clubhouse was closed, there were no jugs at the bar to make cocktails and then the slush machine was being filled up by a member of staff and we were told that it would be ready in 20 mins, we came back in 20 mins and the machines were all empty when we asked about this were told again that they were being filled up and would be ready in a further 30 mins which was obviously just something said to make us go away.

    Tuesday the 19th we went into the boat house for breakfast. We wanted children’s pancakes which we were told they had no Nutella, but we could still have them for the same price but obviously the children wanted Nutella. We then ordered two adults mega breakfasts which came out within minutes which proves everything is pre heated, our food was cold and the hash browns were dripping in grease covering the whole plate.

    We have found out that swimming is fully booked until 7pm every night which is too late for my youngest to go which means that he is now missing out, every activity during the day must be pre booked which most slots have gone.

    Overall I have had a very poor experience during my stay and I’m not happy with how it’s been.
