I had a monthly Nest account for my dropcamera for several years and did the integration to google recently and cancelled my subscription through nest but they are still charging me $10.10 per month. I called nest’s customer service and spent an hour talking to Bridget who seemed overwhelmed and didn’t know how to cancel my subscription. She told me I need to log into my account to cancel but when I try to log in it tells me my password is incorrect which it is not. I tried to do the “forgot my password” but nest doesn’t send me a link to reset my PW. I just want to cancel this subscription so they stop charging me but their service agents aren’t helpful and this seems like a total scam at this point.
On April 5th 5th at 3:38 AM my main Google account was hacked. I’ve tried everything to get in touch with Google to remedy this situation but apparently they are uncontactable they only refer you to an account recovery page. I paid Google For Google photos and for drive monthly for years on end to store my data in a safe place. Now all that stuff that I have stored including every single picture I’ve ever taken of my son, all my personal documents including the work I was doing for the city of Santa Cruz is gone and I have no access to it. All my YouTube channels are gone 2 of which were monotized. Everything was taken from me within one minute by a hacker and I can’t even contact Google in any way other than going to the community forms and being constantly Referred back to the account recovery page which doesn’t work because the hackers changed all my information within one minute. All my credit cards financial records everything was expose. I have paid Google for their services for years on end. There has to be some kind of resolution to this. If they were paid to store my stuff and now all my stuff is gone then they need to pay me back every single payment. Including all the app purchases movies every single thing I’ve ever purchased from them because I do not have access to any of it. They just blame everything back on the end user, I was asleep I did not click on anything the person literally logged into my account passed 2 step verification and changed the phone number and all the reset questions within one minute it was a professional job. I would love to file a complaint against Google. They don’t even have a customer service line or any way to get a response from them this is utterly ridiculous.
