I purchase 2 seats (emergency exit) on the 3rd March (as invoice) for $273.70 due the long distance flight from Sydney to Sao Paulo. 2 days before the departure Qatar changed my seat without any communication or reason. At the boarding time we realized the seats were not the ones I choose and paid for. Qatar gave us the seat at the toilet and do not want to refund the amount that I paid for the seat. I already sent many emails asking for the refund and the customer service attendant do not care about saying Qatar have the right to change the seat at any time.
