I feel totally screwed by Paypal and just have to tell someone about it. Let me start with the backstory. I sold an expensive piece of guitar equipment to a guy in France on eBay. He sent the money via Paypal and I shipped his gear via USPS international priority mail ( 6 to 8 days to Europe / no tracking or signature ). Five days after the date I shipped the gear the buyer is already filing a complaint with eBay that he did not get his item. So now we start the painful process of an eBay/ Paypal investigation! Which is so slow and flawed It could make a guy crazy! During the process, Paypal withdraws the money back from my account which could have caused checks to bounce had I not had things covered! De To make a long story short, Paypal found in the buyer’s favor only on his word that the item wasn’t delivered even though I had many documents to show that not only was the item shipped but shipped to the customer’s address. I feel totally betrayed by Paypal and will not sell internationally on eBay anymore due to Paypal’s rules on how things must be shipped to meet their rules!
