Mirabella Motors — Sold Us A Lemon

Mirabella Motors sold me a defective car and failed to disclose it. In August 2020, I drove up to Tampa from Miami, a 4 hour car ride, to pick up a 2015 Mercedes-Benz S550 which I have negotiated with Dean, an apparent Mirabella Motors shady salesman over the phone, arranged financing with the bank and looking forward to a stress-free car buying experience. Little did I know that I’ll be in for the surprise of my life. After taking delivery of the car, Dean pressured me to go to his Google page and leave a 5 star review. His smooth talking and demeanor fooled me into thinking that he is a genuine person. On my way home, I tried to open the sunroof on this car and it wouldn’t open, only tilts to on side and refused to close. I called him immediately and complained. He said that it shouldn’t be an issue but to take it to a Mercedes-Benz dealership once I get home and that the extended GWC coverage warranty which I purchased along with the car should cover it. I took the car to the dealership the next day and bad news number one, the Sunroof rail was broken and has been broken for awhile they said. GWC will not cover the damages which amounted to nearly $3,000. I called Dean again to inform him and he said that he will source the parts himself and arrange an alternative repair. We found a local repair shop with lower labor pricing than the dealership but Dean then resolved to stop taking my phone calls. He wouldn’t answer my messages and phone calls anymore instead leaving me with a broken Sunroof that no longer close. I have been driving around in this car while avoiding parking outside in case it rains. I have tried everything to get Dean and Mirabella Motors to do what is right and fix this one issue. There’s been a lot of problems with the car since I’ve been driving it, like brake issue, air suspension leaking and seat functions not working but this singular Sunroof problem has caused immense anxiety and frustration to me and my family. This is no way to treat people. All I wanted was to buy a car in peace but this has turned into such a nightmare that I relive and regret everyday.
