Mercari — No Proof of Delivery and Won’t Refund

I have been a Mercari customer for 5 years with no issues. Mercari recently launched a ‘Local’ delivery option via Uber, which I, unfortunately, tried for the first time last week. I purchased a wall art piece for $32.84 on 1118. I ed the address on the order is correct. I received text messages from Mercari as the driver was supposedly on their way and getting close. I waited outside and no one showed up yet I received a ‘delivery action text. I reached out to Mercari immediately to let them know that I didn’t receive the package and they failed to look into the issue at all and stated that ‘because the seller ed they gave it to a driver, your payment has been released to the seller’. I asked for proof that the seller gave it to a driver and that the driver dropped it off and they ignored my ask and couldn’t provide any proof. Meanwhile, I have my Ring Camera to prove that nobody came to my home. I have been passed off to 8 different customer service reps who keep sending me the same generic messages and nobody has cared to look into this or show any proof of delivery. I need my money back.
