I found an airconditioner on Lazada, being a special offer available for one day only.
I bought it on Lazada website -pay on delivery
Lazada rang me to tell me it was a bulky item and I needed to pay in advance
I paid. It was a scam
Yet there the item is. Still on Lazada search page
Lazada must know that the ads on their web site are scams
they have been advertising these fake airconns for over 1 year
It would be a simple task for Lazada to warn customers of a problem with specific
Products ie Aircons Mx
And then warn about making payments through 711 or Gcssh etc
. But what are Lazada doing about it? Nothing
My action now is to contact the NBI
and to recommend that they persuade Lazada to act
and to publish warnings that buying Lazada products may involve scams
I feel I have a strong enough case to take them to court
In the UK banks repay my loss in full
I would consider it resolved if they offered hallf my loss. Ie 7000 pesos
