I met Joe via the website eHarmony. We were originally matched in January of 2018 but didn’t connect until December. He wears Mont Blanc cologne, talks about past lives, is very charming, and dresses nicely.
He’s originally from the Niagara Falls area of Canada and currently resides in Boca Raton, Florida, USA. He moved to Deerfield Beach, FL from Canada in 2016. His eHarmony profile lists Deerfield Beach as his residence, but he bought a home in Boca Raton with his wife, Mary Mazur, in July of 2018.
When I confronted him, he told me that Mary was his “sister.” When I pressed the issue, he said their relationship was originally a romantic one, but he had largely become responsible for her because she couldn’t make it on her own and the relationship had degraded to that of brother and sister. I asked if she knew his view of the relationship; he admitted they hadn’t discussed it, only that he wasn’t moving back to Canada.
