Paid them to fix my hotwater heater and in the end I paid them and fixed it myself. After paying them $300 to repair a hot water heater that is only 6 years old I was still having the same issue shortly after the plumber left. I was then told when I spoke with them that the plumber would be back the next day, a Saturday. When he never showed I called them and they told me he didn’t work that day and he could come on Monday and replace the entire unit. I asked about the $300 in parts and labor that I already paid and they said that was paid for the work they did and not relevant to replacing the unit. I refused and decided to look at the unit myself. I discovered that the unit was not getting any air as the intake was covered with dust and dirt. The plumber had said he cleaned this area out and DID NOT. After cleaning it myself I am back up and running but still out the $300 in un-needed repairs that they performed. I agreed to the proposed settlement from the business but have not received the $75 credit from them. I had requested that this amount they proposed be credited back to the card they originally charged or they could send a check to the address they have on file for my home.
