Jackie Alexander Burnett swooped in on my troubled marriage & destroyed her own marriage after my now ex-husband & I separated after I found out about his first affair. My then-husband Donald Frederick Yates Jr. (Fred) works as the head Chef at an **************** in Colfax, Washington. 5 months after we were married, I moved out after learning he was having an affair with a coworker, Gabrielle Marie Finley Switalski. Fred told me that after I moved out his assistant chef Jackie moved in to help with bills & housework. I’d never met her, so I did a quick internet search. She looked old enough to be his mom & unattractive enough to be his dad. He swore that she was just “a roommate.” He lied. The whole time he was telling me he wanted to save our marriage, he was ******** Jackie. She left her husband of 8 years & move in with my husband right after I’d moved out. I decided to write Jackie explaining that I wanted to save my marriage and she should do the same. I worked up the nerve to drive to the house. Fred was outside, I walked over to him but before I could say a word, Jackie was leaping off the porch screaming, “You f* up! Get in your f*ing car and leave!” I held out the letter & said, “Please Jackie.” De she grabbed it & tore it into pieces. Fred just stood there. I got in my car and left. De I wrote a second letter & mailed it to her. I never got a response. Our divorce was final 5 months ago. Fred & Jackie are still living together and she is still married to her husband. Gabbi is now a convicted felon & in rehab. I can’t even begin to put into words what I’m feeling. I so desperately miss the love I felt, the man I married & the life we had.
