I needed 2 outdoor hose spigots replaced and paid a fix fee for Home Advisor. The price that I paid was a little over $200. I filled out a detailed description of the project as well submitting pictures. The first contractor they sent out walked off the job after 10 minutes after you refusing to use the crawl space to access the water line, and not being able to shut off the water at the meter box.
I call and complained and HA sent another contractor out. It took him 2 days to do a 2 hr job. He must have gone to Home Depot 5 times to get parts. He was also 4-6 hours late from the the time he told me he was going to be arriving. So, I wasted 2 days sitting around the house waiting for him. Eventually, he told me he finished the job and left.
I was a bit suspicious of his qualifications so I went into the crawal space to check his work. I found both connect points where the spigots joined the copper pipe to be leaking badly. So I when to Home Depot and bought the supplies I need and fixed the leaks myself.
