Trade-in process was a complete scam. Before going ahead with the process, I spoke to two reps about it before deciding to do the trade in. I was told that if I was not satisfied with the value, I could have my phone back and can send back new phone for refund. After trading in practically a new phone I was “refunded” if you want to call it that, a third of the price of what I actually paid for and my amount to pay back in financing was doubled. I got in touch with them asking what the heck this was, they turned around and said that there is no way to get my phone back and that the transaction already went through and there’s nothing they can do. I asked to speak to their supervisor only to find out they’d get back to me in 2 days (waste). When they did finally get to me, all conversations were through emails which I don’t know what kind of ******** service that is. I wasn’t receiving anything for a couple days and called. When I explained what happened they said I would receive my phone and make a note to the supervisor to do so. Low and behold the supervisor contacted me (email!!) giving me a link to their terms and telling me again there’s nothing they can do. So I’ve been going back and forth with different people telling me different things not giving me correct information and telling me I’m liable for their mistakes, trapping me in their scheme. Their supervisor, Ver&nica, then passed ** off to their help desk and I called them out on it and it went back to her, only to repeat the same thing. I even asked to file a claim 6 times and they would not let me at all. Who blocks they’re customers from fighting for the fact that they are the ones liable for their misinformation?? I should not be paying for a brand new phone I do not have because they kept it and I should not be paying for the representative’s incompetence in not knowing what the terms are therefore telling me wrong information for me to go off of. All of this was terrible experience and I want make sure that people are aware of this. Don’t ever do a trade in with them, you’ll end up scammed X 2.
