Google Nest — They refused to refund the money

We used to have Google Nest cameras. After removing the cameras we tried to cancel the service. Our Google account said we don’t have any subscriptions so I didn’t think anything else about it. I later noticed that we were still getting charged for the service and got charged twice one month. My wife tried to call and get a refund and they refused to refund the money. They had her log in to another website that showed the active subscription. I feel misled by my account statement and that I was wrongfully charged. I would like a refund for charges since September. It was $12.79 a month and then a double charge in November. I have a screen shot taken in November and my wife called December 11th.
