Google — Incompetence and negligence

On 11/19/2021, Google Fiber employee came to my home to prep for an installation that was to occur on Monday 11/22/2021. We were not home when he dug a large trench through our front yard and severed our existing cable line running from the terminal junction to our home. After severing the line, he simply left and has not returned our calls, texts, or emails. I reached out to Google Fiber for a resolution and was told they would not be able to send someone out to complete the installation for two weeks, nor will they repair the damage done. We are now without internet (theirs or the one we currently have) for two weeks. Google has stated they refuse to remedy the situation, fix the damage they have caused, or reimburse the cost of having the damage repaired. Basically, they destroyed my yard and severed the hardline of their competitor to my home, and them bumped their own installation back more than 10 days from the promised install date. This is sabotage of a competitor at the expense of the customer. The worst is that Google now will not even finish installing their own product after destroying my existing connection. I am without internet now, and am unable to work from home due to their incompetence, negligence, inattentive haste, and worst of all, their complete lack of remorse for the customer. My only fault here is trying to become a customer, and now I am out dozens of hours of my time as well as my ability to perform my job.
