Today while in an emergency situation, I needed to use a computer to reach out for help, because I didn’t have my phone. Gmail decided to block me. Today while in an emergency situation, I needed to use a computer to reach out for help. Gmail blocked my login and demanded I use my phone to unlock my account and I did not have my phone on hand. AGAIN IT WAS AN EMERGENCY! There is such a thing as too much security and this was a prime example. It’s one thing to notify me of activity, it’s another to block it. This was a potential life and death situation and if it wasn’t for the help of a Samaritan, I could be in a life altering state.
