Today I placed an online order for pick up through the Giant app on my phone. When I arrived at the store the worker (W.B.) came out to my car with the groceries and put them in my trunk. She then proceeded to come around my car and says, “can you do me a favor next time?… Can you put your first or last name on your order so I know it’s not a “bogus” order?!” I am standing there confused as I used the app on my phone which says “hi MacKenzie” every time I log on right on the homepage. I let her know I had no idea that my name wasn’t in there and I apologized. She then says, “ I saw your order come through and said to my self, I’m not doing this day (dealing with bogus order)” I felt it a little attacked as all I was doing wasn’t placing a simple grocery order and coming to pick them up. I hope W.B. Gets some coaching on customer service. I was extremely embarrassed as she’s saying this to me in front of everyone coming out of the store. I would just like some coaching to this employee to save any embarrassment to anyone else!
