Frndlytv.com — Do not give them your credit card

This company states that they offer a 7 day free (NOTE:”FREE”) trial. I processed to sign up for the “FREE TRIAL” then was asked for my credit card information. This is clearly a false advertisement!!! If something is claimed and stated as “FREE” Then nothing is required, and that surely includes a credit card!!!! I have emailed this company on this same issue, their response is: (We offer a 7 day absolutely free trial, you can cancel at any time.) CANCEL WHAT? IT’S FREE!!! Which in turn will be their excuse for this complaint along with “The trial is free to cause we don’t charge your credit card. Once again, If the trial is absolutely, then I ask where does a credit card come into play?

  1. I’m sure they do that because people tend not to call back in the 7-day period, and then it goes to monthly billing. I understand your point, but I believe most businesses probably follow that model.
