I shopped and paid using the self-checkout. The scale malfunctioned so many times that I lost count. Each time stating remove your unscanned object from the scale then stopped forcing an employee to come over and scan their badge. As a former cashier for another company every single item was scanned. Every second object I scanned was considered as an unscanned item by the malfunctioning register. Then at the end, I wanted to use coupons and it errored again resulting in the scanned item getting rung up again. When I went to the customer service area the woman who gave my money back was incredibly rude, no please no sorry nothing. She acted like she didn’t know what I was talking about, I haven’t shopped at Stop and Shop for a long time. Now I know why. FIX GHE SRLF CHECKOUT. Fix the self-checkout and train the customer service people
