Fidelity Life — Fraudulent Intent

I wrote a letter to FidelityLife to cancel the term life insurance policy I had in effect. I followed the instructions included on their website. I received a letter dated July 16, 2021 acknowledging receipt of my request for cancellation and indicating that they did not process the request as I did not remit a statement stating I was not married. This requirement is not specified on their website. Additionally, I received a second letter also dated July 16, 2021, changing my monthly credit card payment to a quarterly Individual Direct Fidelity Life. I never authorized a change to my payment method. This is clearly an attempt to force additional payments past the date of cancellation. I can see from other reviews this is a common practice of FidelityLife, which demonstrates a fraudulent intent. Their own documents mailed to me, included as an attachment, state payment method cannot be changed without written authorization. I do not authorize quarterly payments and have never agreed to this.
