Explore Talent — Do not give them your credit card

ExploreTalent charged me for a 6-month Pro membership that I never signed up for. Also, their online cancellation form does not work. I signed up for a free trial for an Explore Talent Pro account on 12/17/19. Upon signing up, the website stated that after (7) days, I would be charged the monthly fee of $39.73 per month had my account not been cancelled. I decided to keep the account, so I didn’t cancel my account prior to the end of the 7 day period. However, on 12/26/19 I was charged $188.73 from ExploreTalent. That is the cost of their six month membership. I NEVER authorized this charge or agreed to pay that cost. After realizing that I was charged this much, I immediately tried to cancel my account via their website. But of course, the website doesn’t work properly. On the online cancellation form, when you use their topic selections to select “Cancel Membership,” the website will NOT allow your query to be sent. Each time that you press send, it notifies you that “something went wrong” and prompts you to call a number. However, I have called this number and no one answers. Also, if you try sending a message through their website using any of the other topic selections, the message goes through immediately. So clearly ExploreTalent has this measure in place in order to ensure individuals are unable to cancel their accounts and continue being charged ridiculous amounts that were never agreed upon nor mentioned.
