I applied online through the correct portal for an e-visa. By the time we arrived at the Ethiopian airport in Addis Ababa we were told that there is no record of our application and that we have to buy an upon entry tourist visa. All together is was $42 for the online application and $50 for the tourist entry visa.
I want my visa (valid until I travel to Ethiopia again or my money back! They could have issued the visa at the airport but should have then gave us credit for the online VISA application.
