eDreams — Refund request

I regret deciding buying my flight ticket with E-dreams. Even though people around me warned me about the lack of good customer service and high rate of customer dissatisfaction I still decided that I want to try trusting them.

I bought my return ticket through E-dreams from Amsterdam to Norway September 16 – September 20. On the day of the departure I missed the flight due to the long waiting times at Schipol airport (even though I arrived 4 hrs before the departure date) but then KLM rescheduled me for the next day September 17, which I accepted. However this flight was cancelled and KLM suggested me to fly on September 19th which I refuse because I would return on September 20. Therefore I reached out to KLM for a refund and they told me to request it through E-dreams and I did. I raised a refund request on September 17 and I was told that it will take around a month for the refund because KLM has to refund E-dreams, which will then refund me back.

After 2 weeks I still heard nothing from E-dreams so I called on September 27th and the agent on the phone told me they will sent a request to the refund support team to look into and that I will an update. I was still waiting for an update then on October 4th I called again I spoke with a supervisor. He told me that the refund normally takes 30 days therefore I have approximately 2 weeks left but he ensured me that I will get my refund within this timeline.
But still nothing………,…….

In the meantime I contacted KLM to discuss about my refund requested through E-dreams and I was told by 2 KLM agents that my refund was approved and sent to E-dreams on September 24th.
Already at this point I felt very frustrated and disappointed in E-dreams not committing to the deadline the gave me.

Within the 2 next weeks after my last call with E-dreams I still heard nothing then on October 14th I called and I spoke with a supervisor called Varun Rana. He told me he will again contact the refund support team and I will get an update within 10 working days; he ensured me, promised me and reassured me that everything will go as he told me. I decided to to trust him because he seemed reassuring even though I was loosing trust to E-dreams.

Unfortunately after 10 working days none of this happened, no updates , nothing. I started to remember when people were telling me not to buy my ticket through this agency, people warned me about this scenario but no I wanted to trust E-dreams. What was even harder was the fake information E-dreams gave me since the day I raised my case on September 17.

On October 31st I called again while feeling hurt, left out as a customer and I spoke to another supervisor called Apoorv U. This person again told me the exact same thing his peers told me before that he will contact the support team and I will receive an update but what was different with him is that he told me I will be contacted in 3 days, yes he almost swore that by November 3rd I will be contacted but today that I am writing the complaint we are on November 15th and still nothing.

To the person who is reading this do you know how it feels when you put your trust on an agency and in return you are left out? no-one at E-dreams take my case seriously and I don’t understand why you will take people’s money and not offer them the right customer service support they deserve. Until this date I don’t know anything about my case and what is hurting me the most is the fact no-one has ever contact me (through emailcall) about my case like these supervisors told me. Sometimes it’s not about the money but it’s about how your case is handled, how you are being treated but if there’s one thing I can say for sure it’s that E-dreams do not care about their customers; the proof is I’m still waiting for my refund and it’s been 2 months and they are not even doing the right thing to contact KLM about this because I have been in contact several times with KLM;. I even spoke with supervisor agent who ensured me that my refund was sent to E-dreams and there’s no record of E-dreams contacting KLM to enquire about my missing refund.

I regret from the bottom of my heart to have chosen E-dreams and I am not going to stop until I have my money back. Everyone around me is already aware of the lazy and uncaring customer service at E-dreams and I will tell to the whole world how I have been treated.
