Econo Lodge — Very Bad Service

I walked in to see if there was a vacancy. The desk clerk was no where to be seen, I stood there a go 3 – 5 miutes before a voice ask what did I want. I had been hearing this voice the whole time I was there (sounded like a personal call). When I ask about a vacancy for 1 and the price. The voice told me that the room had two beds and it was $70.00. I had already searched for rooms and I thought that this one out in the woods would be cheaper than staying in Tallahassee. I just thought that it was rude of the desk clerk not to at least look at me and not be hidden. The tone of his voice could have been nicer. I don’t care how you resolve this complaint. I just thought you should know how your employee was repersenting your place of business. I worked 4 years as a desk clerk at Days Inn and Super 8. I would never have acted like this.
