I have booked a hotel through Easyjet that was closed throughout the Easter holiday and was moved to a different hotel. I did not object to the new hotel as it still said a quiet room with side sea view. On arrival I was given noisy room above the laundry room on the back side of the hotel – no see view at all. On the right side noise from the tumble dryers, on the left disco noise. I think it was room 117. When I have complained, I was told, that room like that is not available. I have booked the holiday in February, traveling on the 7th of April till 10th of April. Contacted easyjet. Easyjet replied that they have contacted the hotel and there was no other room available. At 22:30 I have really complained at the reception and new room was found, eventhou since about since 16:00 hours they have been telling me that nothing else is available. I was also told by the rude reception staff, that it is only side sea view. I was also told that I will have to move from the new – family room in the morning. Their request, not mine. New room is nice, direct sea view. However when the disco sound went quiet, that’s when I could really hear the noise from the electric swich board. At 00:50 in the morning I went to the reception to ask what to do about it and the receptionist told me that maybe I shouldn’t have come. A very kind handyman reassured me that it’s ok and stuffed some toilet paper in the electricity box in hope to create a sound barrier. I did not work. I am here only from the 7th of April, leaving on the 10th, unpacked, packed at 22:30, unpacked, hardly slept, packed again, unpacked, did not sleep again. The reception staff is annoyed that I have asked for a room I have paid for. I hooe I am sending you the correct photos.
