On August 17, 2022 At around 9pm. A girl friend and I stop to get gas at ezmart on 349. When we got to register. She had paid for her gas with cash and some drinks with her EBT card then walked out. After my friend had walked out the lady started yelling how’d she would have to pay the 2.86 that didn’t get paid and started yelling at me about how she was able to split payments or something like that and how she would be short that night. I paid for mine and told her I would go outside and get the money if it was owed and I’d be right back. After I told my friend we went straight back in with her receipt. As we wait in line the lady is still talking about it to other customers. When she started to ask us something, a big African American man start talking to us like threatening us and telling us to shut up and leave the lady alone. He kept on about how he would beat our *****. AND THE CASHIER NEVER SAID ANYTHING TO CALM THE MAN OR DEFEND US. We scared for our lives when all we were is paying customer trying to straighten out an issue. She allowed everyone to know our business and acting unprofessionally in every way. She could have very easy said something to the man but instead I had to tell the man I would call the police! We never felt so threatened and the customers in between us were looking very scared themselves. I don’t know what the ladies problem was but we had a receipt and it showed paid.
