Doug Hopkins Real Estate Formula failed to honor its guarantee to refund money paid for the real estate course I purchased. I purchased a three day workshop from Doug Hopkins Real Estate Formula for $1995 on January 24th 2019. The company guaranteed, “the company guarantees that if you take action and follow the steps necessary to buy and/or by and sell real estate as detailed in your 3-Day Real Estate Workshop and you do NOT make a minimum of THREE TIMES the amount you paid for you 3-Day Real Estate Workshop training, we will give your money back.” The guarantee had 8 separate conditions on the refund policy. I was unable to make three times ($5,985) the amount I paid for the three day workshop, but I kept detailed proof of meeting the 8 conditions for my refund. On 8/30/2019 I sent certified my with the proof I met the conditions to received my full refund price of $1995. Before I was expecting my refund, I purchased an additional workshop Platinum Plus package for $26,297 which offered: FastStart bootcamp, investor summit, 4 day of live bootcamp, online course, online resource center, real estate evaluation software and cash flow club. Some of the services were satisfied but many weren’t honored. The refund I was expecting back from the 3-Day Real Estate training was never returned. I tried contacting Doug Hopkins but I wasn’t able to get any assistance because all the contacts I was given was unavailable.
