I’m the Estate Administrator for my brother who passed away in 2019. His Direct Express card was still open when his auto insurance company said they would mail his partial refund to his Direct Express Card. I agreed. (Big mistake! Should have accepted the offered paper check refund.) Thinking that it had been done, I closed the account. Direct Express sent me HALF of that refund. I’ve emailed them, contacted their probate department, tried calling them numerous times about this discrepancy. No response. What a dumpster fire Direct Express is; the staff should be terminated or the contract canceled!
