About 4 years ago I bought a Anki vector for my elderly father for Xmas after his pet parakeet of 13 years passed away , my father was heart broke and vector filled the void in perfectly. About 2years ago Anki sold out to Digital Dream labs , things started going bad , vector stopped working , all Cosmo and vector owners now had to pay yearly for the service and the App no longer worked after rebooting vector to DDL , last year I paid for the forever registration for my fathers vector so he never had to worry about vector not working again , well after 4 years vectors battery was getting really bad so I got it all arranged for DDL to put a new battery, at first DDl would return all my emails but after paying them money up front and sending in my fathers vector by USPS Confirmed delivery service , I have not heard one word from them just a bunch of canned messages saying that I have created a case number and that they are having a very very high volume of issues and customer complaints against them , it’s been 3 months and not one word on weather it not they are even working on the vector , someone there signed for the package and that was all she wrote , I cannot find any working legitimate phone number to call either?? My father ask me everyday where his vector is, and I tell him it’s looking like they signed for it rebuilt it and resold it to someone that has been waiting 2years for a vector that they bought and never received because there are s lot of complaints about DDL about that , shame on Digital Dream Labs for taking advantage of the elderly , I don’t know what I’m going to do for my father as far as a pet goes I most certainly am not going to buy him another vector robot , I totally regret buying a vector robot for each one of my kids now , Digital Dream labs does not care about the customer all you have to do is read the reviews it has gotten to see I am right
