I purchased the Vector robot 2 years ago for 250 dollars and was not supposed to need any subscription or further payment to function. I got a email yesterday saying I had to start paying 7 dollars a month or 50 dollars a year or I could no longer interact with the device. Now today when I try to interact with the device it tells me I no longer can unless I buy a membership.
