Crypto.com — Denied access to my crypto.com account and VISA card

Crypto.com is denying access to my own account and has frozen my visa card, so far no plausible explanation has been provided. On the 24th of Jan 2022, I reset the 2FA code for my crypto.com account, as requested by crypto.com. After that, I transferred CROs from my crypto.com account to my crypto DEFI Wallet, which is linked to my crypto.com account. The transaction was received. Shortly after that, I received two emails: 1. We have recently noticed suspicious activity on your Crypto.com Visa Card. … we have deactivated your card pending manual review. 2. Your CRO transfer was denied. I logged into my crypto.com account only to find that it was locked and my VISA card was frozen. I was still able to see the total value of my account portfolio but was unable to enter my wallet with the specific listings of my assets. I contacted the helpdesk contact@crypto.com via email. The next morning I saw the reply (received at 3am) in form of a standardized request to submit a selfie-video with a handwritten piece of paper with my name, date and a code. All information had to be read out aloud and to be sent within 15 minutes from receipt. All further email communication with this helpdesk ended in total meaningless replies and in the end no replies at all. I newly approached crypto.com via the chat helpdesk from my app. Over the following days, I went through 6 different agents via the app-chat. Each agent started from scratch, asked for the same videos again, approved them, then nothing. The last agent on the 1st of Feb started from scratch again, approved the video and demanded a new email address, which needed to be linked to my account. I provided the new email. He then informed me that after the update of my email they would reset the passcode and 2FA, after that the relevant team would then review the account and would determine if it is safe to re-open it. He also advised that I absolutely shall not log into my account again until everything is sorted. He would update me asap. Since then nothing I tried to contact him countless times, no reply Until today I don’t know why all this is happening. For now, I am desperate and sick with the stress that all my assets will vanish.
