I recieved a text in response to my application on indeed. They asked me to attend a chat only interview on a 3rd party app. After a back and forth they told me I would hear back the next day if they were to move forward. They explained that all software and devices would be provided to me for the position. They had me sign the official job offer and send a screenshot of the signed offer. I instead sent back a screenshot without my signature and informed them that they misspelled my name. They then proceeded to email me a check to buy the items from their preferred vendor. I informed them that it would need to be sent as a money order, business check or cashier’s check, not a weird check sent from a law office like this one if I were to move forward. I have not heard back.
