I was at Cracker Barrel in Fern creek this morning with about 15 senior citizens from Woods of Glenmary. Our server Garrick did an excellent job serving us and getting us the proper checks when we were ready to leave. We took them to the register and was told we couldn’t pay due to our table not being in the register. After 20 minutes several us pooled money to come up with the right change and left. I don’t know how long the rest of our party waited. Many in our group were using canes or walkers which made standing very difficult as most are in their 70’s or eighty-seven. They were not even offered a seat to wait and the manager never came out to address the situation. This group comes to your restaurant monthly. In the future I think the manager needs to come and address the situation and offer some discount on our checks or the very least see that those on caneswalkers have a place to sit.
