Situation: I purchased a car through Carvana on 1122022. An Alpha Romeo 2018 with approximately 43K miles for 32k at the Charlotte NC location. Background: The entire process was wobbly, and I should have stopped but thought it was a good car for fair price. I had to upload documents more than 20x. There was a 500.00 delivery fee although I had to go pick up and the delivery was delayed because they were doing such an extensive inspection. They told me the car was in Florida, which was inaccurate. Assessment: The car is undecidable. I could never get anyone really associated with Carvana on the line throughout the entire process. This was a call center where no one knew my info the entire 10-15 x of giving it throughout the purchase. Here is the issue at hand, I started calling Carvana within a few days of purchase letting them know there was an issue when I take off and seemed to hesitate. Therefore, for several day we worked on finding someone to work on the car and or do a diagnostics. There were at least 20 Auto mechanics that refused to work or even do diagnostics on the vehicle mainly not work with Silver Rock and or Carvana. After finally getting Firestone in Arden North Carolina to do, a diagnostics they said that although the check oil light was on and there were s the car had no issues. I immediately called back to Carvana and told them I still felt there were issues with takeoff. A week later, the cluster on the dashboard went black. After days of calling around and trying once again to find someone to look at the cluster that hosts the speedometer, fuel, and other important info on the dash I located a an authorized dealer two hours away. Days on the phone with Carvana and Silver rock going through each scenario repeatedly they agreed to have the car diagnosed again, waive the fees and get a new key fob (which was promised day of purchase). I had an appointment to day in Knoxville TN at an authorized AR dealership (1262022). I start the car this morning 12-6-2022 and it has a transmission , check engine and will not drive except what I believe to be in first gear. Cannot tell much since the cluster is not working but intermittently. I have notified Carvana and ask to speak to someone directly related to Carvana in order to get resolution since the first week I bought the car. I told them today to come please pick up the car and help me find another car since they took my original car in trade and I am without a vehicle. they said I was outside of the warranty although I have been calling 2-3x per weeking them to the major issues with the car. No one purchases a car to have it to the shop multiple times in the first month. Not to mention I am a single mom and doctor working to see patients and cannot afford to not be able to get to work in time. I also notified the financing office I will not pay until resolved. Resolution: the car is parked in my driveway at my home. It needs picked up and I need a refund and or a comparable vehicle. Replace car with comparable selection and refund deposit.
