Before purchasing the warranty my car was in the shop for a repair due to the check engine light being on, this was resolved same day. While my car was in the shop the mechanic noted that he felt the transmission was slipping while driving however a formal diagnostic was not done, no check lights or service codes were present, and I was unaware of this being noted in my records as it had nothing to do with what I brought my car in for. CarShield is now denying any future claims due to this “preexisting condition”, even though there is no solid proof of the transmission actually being an issue. During the claims process I was informed that the representative who sold my warranty put the wrong mileage. The responsibility was then put on me to correct the mileage even though it was not my error. My car was in the shop for almost 2 weeks and I was not eligible for a rental or reimbursement since the claim was pending for so long and not approved. I just want my money back. So disappointed.
